A softer compound tire is usually operating in a lower temperature range. A softer compound tire however will have a shorter lifetime and will require you to change tires more often.
By decreasing the tire pressures you allow the tire to flex a bit more under load and spreading the load accross a wider surface, heating it up more.
By increasing the brake ducts in the setup page, you close down the cooling ducts more, which is not allowing the brakes to cool off as much and therefore transfering more heat into the tires themself. If the brakes start to overheat, this will impact the braking performance of the car.
By increasing the front toe-in and rear toe-out values (values further away from 0) you will be scrubbing the tires more along the straights increasing the temperature of the tire. This will however have an impact on the cars cornering performance.
